Looking At Slackware 15 Stable

Updated: Feb 12, 2023

In this post I'll be sharing some screenshots of my Slackware installation.

Slackware has it's own package management system and the tools are fairly easy to use.

I installed Slackware about 3 weeks ago and it's been very stable and reliable.

The KDE settings are easy to work with as well.

The rest of the screenshot's are under the XFCE desktop and I'll give details.

Gimp works very well if you want to edit a picture, resize it and so much more.

QT5 installed-

At the moment all of the KDE applications under the XFCE desktop environment on my system have white backgrounds. I'm in the process of trying to fix that.

I am planning a blog post for the future for how to run Slackware, list the tutorial on how to install it and how to set it up after the first boot.

In the meantime if you'd like to learn more you can visit Slackware's website.
